Echofy’s approach to channel management is
uniquely focused on helping companies revolutionize their channel results because
Echofy itself is unique. And Echofy is unique because it has assembled a management
team which collectively has so many decades of unparalleled experience running both
channel/partner programs and channel companies. From leadership positions at Microsoft,
BEA Systems, Boeing Ventures, Hewlett-Packard and other top companies to founding
roles at numerous startup companies, the Echofy team brings to the table a perspective
that is grounded deeply in the real world of channel sales, marketing and management.
Dan Frumin, Founder, CEO and CTO
Dan Frumin founded Echofy in 2003, launching it as Adaptive Strategy. He grew Adaptive
Strategy into a multi-million dollar revenue company before relaunching it as Echofy.
His career has delivered a broad range of experience stretching from software engineering
to channel program management. Prior to founding Echofy, Dan founded and ran ZapSpot,
a software platform company. Previous to that, Dan held high level positions at
Microsoft in both marketing and technical roles. Much of Dan’s achievement at Microsoft
came in partner program management - expertise and experience he leveraged in creating
the foundation for Echofy’s platform of channel management products and services.
At Microsoft he managed core developer evangelism programs worldwide and was responsible
for tremendous growth in these programs. Dan is a strategic advisor to software
company Mission Research, as well as The Terpin Group, a technology public relations
firm. He is also an advisor to Flywheel Ventures, a venture capital firm focused
on information technology and physical sciences companies. Some of his previous
technical work includes research on artificial intelligence at NASA’s Jet Propulsion
Laboratory.
Dan is a native Spanish speaker, having grown up in Argentina. He holds a Bachelor's
degree in Computer Science from Caltech.
Scott Fallon, President
Scott Fallon is unique in the industry for having both managed large partner programs
and run a channel company. He was most recently president of a multi-state vertical
software reseller where he increased new system sales four-fold in just two years
and was named #1 reseller in the world for the core product. Prior to that he was
VP, Developer Relations at BEA Systems where he created and built the function including
launching a developer brand, portal, magazine and worldwide training tour. Other
achievements included striking major partnering deals with companies such as ComponentSource
and Yahoo. He also served almost a decade at Microsoft where among several roles
he managed the breadth ISV partner program, growing it in size many times over,
and created and launched Startup and Venture Capital programs. Additionally at Microsoft
he managed the launch of .NET Enterprise Servers and led the effort for industry
support during the landmark anti-trust trial faced by the company. Scott began his
career in technology more than 20 years ago at Hewlett-Packard where he helped launch
the company’s first CD-ROM product.
Scott holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from University of California, San
Diego and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
Sven Liden, Vice President of Product Planning

management team. Sven was most recently the CEO and board chairman of TeachTown
